SVHS Senior Destiny Lewis will be participating in the Poetry Out Loud Regional Competition on Saturday, January 23. The competition will be from 2-4 p.m. at Fairfield Electric Cooperative’s Community Room, 701 Blythewood Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
She will be competing in the Region 2 Competition against students from the following counties: Edgefield, Saluda, Newberry, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Darlington, Marlboro, Aiken, Lexington, Richland, Sumter, Florence, Marion, Dillon and Calhoun. The winner and two runner ups in each region contest will advance to the State Poetry Out Loud Competition.
