Superintendent Makes Good on Promise
Richland School District Two's Interim Superintendent, Dr. Debbie Hamm, visited Spring Valley in pajamas yesterday, fulfilling a promise she made earlier in the month to visit any school increasing its pledges to, or participation in, the district's annual United Way campaign. Spring Valley met the challenge thanks in part to the leadership of Dr. Lars Seiler, head of the school's campaign. Thank you to all of the faculty and staff who donated this year.
Homeless Not Hopeless
Homeless Not Hopeless will be a powerful event featuring monologues from Richland Two students who have, or who are, experiencing homelessness. The funds will benefit the Richland Two Education Foundation and will provide emergency assistance to students and families throughout the district. This will be an evening filled with performances from our drama department, gospel choir, Homecoming Queen, Amina Gaines, as well as a special performance from one of our own co-workers. Join us Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00 PM in the Spring Valley Auditorium. Tickets are $2.00.
