2018-2019 Semester 2 Exam Schedule

Guidelines

Exams are given during the final week of each semester.  All students are expected to take exams as scheduled -- exams cannot be taken early (in advance of the student’s assigned class).

Make-up exams may be given only under special circumstances which cause hardships such as surgery or death in the family (vacation plans, trips, etc. will not be considered as hardship situations.).  Make-up exams must be taken within three weeks of the original exam date. Written permission must be obtained from Mrs. Stacey Baker to schedule a makeup exam. Approval to reschedule the exam does not excuse the absence. Students may not sign out of school during an exam period.

All students will be required to participate in the exam schedule. Seniors may exempt exams if they have 90% or above in a class (except End of Course exams). Seniors should receive notification of exemption status by the Friday before senior exams.

News From the Fee Office

Attention Seniors, the fees list for seniors has been posted outside the fees window. Please check to see if you owe any school fees. School fees must be paid prior to graduation. Check, cash, credit, or debit cards will be accepted in our fee Office Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00pm, fees can also be paid through your parent portal account online. The fee window will be open before school, during lunch and after school for seniors.

SVHS FBLA March of Dimes Fundraiser

Spring Valley Students, Faculty, and Staff. The week of April 22nd - April 26th is March of Dimes week. What is March of Dimes week you might ask? It is a week of fundraising and advocating for health care for mothers and babies. So many expecting mothers and mothers with young children do not have access to proper health care, and may not have enough money for their healthcare bills. Often times these women need support while their baby is in the NICU. FBLA Chapters around the nation have partnered with the March of Dimes Organization to help fundraise and advocate for this great cause. During this week, our FBLA Chapter here at Spring Valley has multiple ways for everyone to get involved. March of Dimes does so much for mothers, babies, and even helps fund research for diseases to find cures. March of Dimes is helping create a better future of us all. So we ask for everyone to help us raise as much money as possible for this great cause. In the following Flyer are all the events and fundraisers for this week. (Written by Kymber Lee)
