Congratulations to our varsity boys basketball team this past Friday with a victory over Ridge View 70 to 58. Our leading scorers were Noah Harper with 17 points. Kenneth Legette and Ja'lon Williams both with 15. Great win!

Varsity Girls Basketball
Last Friday, the varsity girls defeated rival Ridge View by a whopping 83-37. It was by far the best team effort yet! Leading the way was Cierra Carter with 31 points followed by Briana Hill with 14, Bayleigh Ponds with 13 and Akia Dunlap with 10 points. Also contributing were Mileesha Doctor , Joi Jones , Keisha Greene and Dominique Hill with 7,4,2 and 2 respectively. Next, the Lady Vikings hit the road to play 3rd ranked Irmo. ( The Vikings are # 2)

Boys Basketball team took a tough lost against Irmo last night 54 to 74. Our leading scorer was Jordan Bruner with 22 points. Our Region record is 2 lost and 2 wins. Please come support our Vikings as we host Richland Northeast on Friday. Don't forget to wear your pink for breast cancer awareness.
Varsity Girls Basketball
The Lady Vikings lost to Irmo on Tuesday by a score of 51-34. Stats leaders were as follows:
Cierra Carter- 18 points, 9 rebounds
Akia Dunlap- 7 points, 4 rebounds
Raven Fleming- 5 rebounds
This Friday, January 24th, the Vikings will host rival RNE. This game will feature our annual " Play 4 Kay Event" to bring awareness of a cure for breast cancer. During the school day our players will ask for donations to help fund research toward a cure for cancer. At the game, our players will wear pink, play with a pink ball and referees will have pink whistles. Wear your PINK to school on Friday and at the game. Drawings for prizes will take place during both games. The Vikings encourage your support for this event!! The girls game begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the boys @ 7:30 p.m.
