Girls Track & Field
The Lady Viking Track & Field Team had an excellent showing at the Diamond Hornet Invitational at Lower Richland High School on Saturday. We took 2nd of 22 teams, falling 9 points behind Beaufort, but beating all of our local competition there. The team left with a lot of medals around their necks and a trophy in hand, and that is an excellent start to the season.

-Kennay Agnew placed 2nd in the varsity 100m dash with a time of 12.4 and 3rd in the 200m dash.
-Shauntel Smullen placed 2nd and Kailyn Tailor 3rd in the 800m run.
-Hannah Staudt placed 3rd in pole vault.
