Boys Lacrosse
The Viking boys' lacrosse team suffered a loss Monday night against Chapin. A rough start had the Vikings in a 6-0 hole. However, a strong senior class orchestrated a rally but, alas, fell short. Scoring for the Vikings were Noah Diamond (2 goals, 2 assists), Matthew Hogue (2 goals, 1 assist), DeShan Wilson (1 goal, 2 assists), Eli Burch (2 goals) and Gerard Smith (2 goals). Paul Currey added 3 assists.
Defensively, Connor Sears had 13 saves and Suraj Vytla led with 3 ground balls. The Vikings had only one penalty all game, as well.
Next up is a 7pm game @ Richland NE on Thursday, April 3rd. It is the last regular season game. A win seals sole possession of the Region Championship.
