The U.S. Fleet Forces Band Performs for Students @ SV

The Spring Valley Symphonic Band students had the opportunity to participate in an instructional clinic with the U.S. Fleet Forces Band on October 14th, followed by a performance in the Spring Valley Auditorium.

Under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Mark Corbliss, the band is fortunate to be staffed by some of the U.S. Navy's finest and most talented musicians. The U.S. Fleet Forces Band, stationed in Norfolk, VA, performs over 600 engagements annually. Its mission is to provide musical support for ships, shore activities, Navy Recruiting, foreign dignitaries, and community relations events. The “Finest in the Fleet” entertains audiences totaling in the millions every year.
