Alive at 25 is an early intervention program to help prevent traffic violations, collisions and fatalities among teen drivers sponsored by the National Safety Council. The program is designed to prevent the No. 1 killer of teens, automobile crashes. Classes are taught by off-duty deputy sheriffs, municipal police officers and SC Highway Patrol officers. The course is delivered in one 4.5 hour program which focuses on the behaviors, decision-making and risks facing young drivers every time they get behind the wheel. In order for students to register for a parking permit they must have a valid driver's license and proof that they have taken the Alive at 25 driver safety course. The next Alive at 25 class at Spring Valley will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m. in room C-146. Click here to register for the class.
