Boys Tennis
The boy's tennis team defeated Lugoff Elgin on Tuesday 6-0, dropping only one game to the Demons. Winning at singles were Blake McGuirt, Vikranth Reddy, Noah Guyton, Austin Bridgers, and Myles Taste. Winning at #2 Doubles were Josh Stombler and Tyler Froelich.
Boys Track
Last night the boys track team defeated Ben Lippen 136-5. It was a good start to the season with many athletes scoring points. The team runs again this Saturday at Northwestern in Rock Hill.
Boys Lacrosse
The Viking Laxers traveled to Ridge View for a cross-town game and performed well earning the first win of the season, 12 - 3.
Leading the offense, Desean Wilson scored 4 goals and had 2 assists. Also contributing were: Jackson Whitaker (2 goals), Clark Finch (2 goals), Tre Hollis (1 goal, 1 assist), Matthew Cox (1 goal, 1 assist), Austin Wiesehahan (1 goal), Fritz Drescher (1 goal, 1 assist) and Kyle Coward (1 assist).
Defensively, Andrew Lokanstov led the defense with relentless pressure and 5 ground balls. Alan Ayala had 8 saves and Caleb Conner had 4 saves. Tre Hollis won 70% of the faceoffs.
