Boys Tennis
The boys tennis team defeated Westwood 6-0 last night to clench the region. Winning at singles for Spring Valley were Blake McGuirt, Vikranth Reddy, Noah Guyton, John Anthony Hurley and Eddie Tremolada. Winning at #2 doubles were Ben Wagner and Austin Bridgers. The boys have two more out of region matches next week before season tournament play begins.
Softball
The softball team was victorious on senior night against Irmo by a score of 10-0 in 5 innings. Anna Davis started everything off with a solo homerun in the bottom of the first. We brought 15 batters to the plate in that inning, scoring 10 runs. It was a great team win, and we are very proud of our 5 seniors: Anna Davis, Savannah Dowell, Brittany Evans, Katlin Graham, and Whitney Jenkins. The girls will round out their region play when they travel to Westwood on Friday, and close their regular season on Monday at River Bluff. Wish the girls good luck!
