Softball
South Florence 9, Spring Valley 3: The Lady Vikings lost to host South Florence in their first playoff game. Breanna Martinez went 2-4 with a HR, Alexis Edgerton also went 2-4, and Cameron Cooper hit 2-3. The girls look to bounce back as it is a double elimination tournament. We will travel to take on White Knoll this Friday at 6. Wish the girls good luck!

The Lady Vikings Track & Field team had a great night at the Region meet held at Dutch Fork. The girls put forth their best efforts on the track and field events and qualified in the following events 100m (Lanesa Mahon), 800m (Gabrielle McGee), 1600 (Danielle Murrin), 3200 (Danielle & Breanna Murrin), 100m Hurdles (Courtney Pratt), 400 Hurdles (Raechal Sampson), Long Jump/Triple Jump/High Jump (Dominique Hill), Pole Vault (Melissa Smith, Morgan McLeod), Shot Put (Mileesha Doctor, Kiera Montgomery), Discus (Kiera Montgomery), 4x100 relay (Mikayla Turner, Amaryah White, Ti’ayla Lansdowne, Lanesa Mahon), 4x400 relay (Mikayla Turner, Paige Waters, Ahja Amos, Gabrielle McGee) and 4x800 relay (Martina Novotny, Tori Agostini, Mary Beth Payne, Gabrielle McGee). The next meet is 4A Qualifier hosted by Spring Valley on Saturday May 7th. Congratulations Lady Vikings!!!!
