The JV Lady Vikings started 2017 with a win over Westwood last night 43-27. The girls had a great second half sparked by some great defense. Leading scorers were Kymber Lee, Zaliya Anthony and Marayah Lance with 10 pts each. Other scorers were Dajahna Prince 5 pts,; Alexis Mikell and Malaysia Irby with 4 pts each. The JV Lady Vikings will be back in action at home on Thursday @ 5:30 vs Irmo. Overall Record 4-2 Region 2-0. Come out and support your Vikings!
JV Boys Basketball
We started this New Year off on the right foot with a win last night against Westwood 43-38. It was a total team effort by our guys as our defense once again was the reason for the victory. Very proud of the way we played and competed after being off over the break. We were led in scoring by Nicolas Doctor and Joshua Felder both with 9pts., Antwaan Moore 8pts., Ja'Len Roberson 7pts., Maddux Harrell 4pts., Leon Moore 2pts, Christian Humphries 2pts., Patrick Dodd 2pts. We will be back in action this Thursday at home vs. Irmo at 8pm.
B-Team Boys Basketball
Vikings suffered a loss last night to Westwood by 10 points. B-Team vikings are continually improving and playing aggressively to the end. The team was led by Brandon Vereen with 12 points and Corlin Elm with 10 points. Emmaual Moore contributed with 6 points, Danny Evans with 5 points, Jonathan Hafner with 4 pionts and Darion Bouie with 1 point.
