AVID students gain community service hours while helping out for a good cause. The freshman AVID class work alongside that of Mr. Cross to make beds for the homeless. The process involves folding, cutting and looping bags into a ball that is then crochet into beds for the homeless in our community. A total of 500 bags are required to make one bed.
