We are recognizing our community, staff, and student family members who have or are serving in the military by hosting a Veterans Appreciation Assembly at the beginning of the day. There will be a breakfast in the Media Center from 8:00 am - 8:40 am for the veterans and their families followed by the assembly in the main gym at 9:00 am. It is a tradition during the assembly to show pictures of the staff, parents and immediate family who are serving in the military. We would love to get a picture of this person(s) to share with the student body. We have the pictures from last years' student's families but we need pictures for all the new student's families or those who did not share them last year. Please send one picture of each family member who is or has served in the military along with their rank, a branch of service and years served. Please send the picture(s) to jchilder@richland2.org. I need the pictures by Nov. 3.
