As we begin 2nd quarter, we want to remind everyone about the dress code and Spring Valley's expectations.
All students are expected to follow the dress code each day. The dress code is in effect from the time students arrive on campus (for bus riders it begins at the bus stop) until the time they depart campus (for bus riders it ends when they depart the bus stop).
Some areas of dress code that are addressed most commonly are:
* Pants with holes above fingertip length (if pants have holes, the holes must be below fingertip length or holes above fingertip length have to be covered).
* Leggings (leggings only meet dress code if the top garment is fingertip length).
* Shorts/Skirts (shorts/skirts only meet dress code if they are fingertip length).
* Bandanas (bandanas do not meet dress code).
* Crop tops (students cannot wear top garments that expose their midriff).
* Grills (grills do not meet dress code).
All of Spring Valley's dress code policies apply to male and female students. Please go over the dress code expectations again. The graphic below should answer all questions about Spring Valley's dress code expectations.
