Spring Valley High Teachers Receive 2017 Sparkleberry Country Fair Grants

John Monroe, 2016-17 Sparkleberry Country Fair Chairman, and Bill McCracken, 2017-18 Sparkleberry Country Fair Co-Chairman, awarded $25,000 to teachers in Richland School District 2 on October 25 for grants they submitted this year. Three SVHS teachers received grants from the Sparkleberry Country Fair to be used with their students. Cody Venters grant was for “World Language Murals,” Jennifer Bartell’s grant was for “#WeNeedDiverseBooks Project,” and Theresa Formyduval’s grant was for “Heirloom Fruits and Vegetables in Food Products.” All profits from the fair are used for grants and scholarships in RSD2. The Sparkleberry Country Fair will be Saturday, April 28, 2018.
