Girls Lacrosse
The Hilton Head Seahawks and the Vikings had the perfect day to play lacrosse, beautiful weather at about 63 degrees. The sun was shining and it was a perfect day. The Seahawks offense utilized their stick skills of passing and catching to consistently move the lacrosse ball around the goal on multiple occasions. The Vikings were loud with their defense and worked together has a team to do their best.
The Vikings were able to score 4 times, with Hannah Huntley scoring once, Bay Thomas scoring twice, and Turner Prewitt scoring once as well. Turner Prewitt also had one assist during the game. The Seahawks were flying toward our goalie, Tianna Fuller, at full speed. Our loud and proud Viking goalie saved 15 shots on goal, while also letting 15 in. She was actually complimented by one of our referees at the end of the game, which was a huge honor!
Although the game ended with a score of 4 to 15, our Vikings did their best and were proud of themselves. We ended our trip with a visit to the beach, enjoying each other’s company and the gorgeous sunset. All in all, a great trip with an amazing group of people! Our next game is on Tuesday, March 6th and Ridge View High School. Please come out and support our Girls Lacrosse Vikings at 6:00 pm at Ridge View High.
GO VIKINGS!
