Girls Track
Huge Congratulations to the Lady Vikings Track & Field Team as they advance to the State Championship in all 3 relays (4x100, 4x800 and 4x400) along with the Triple Jump and 200m dash. Highlights from the meet include: 8th place 4x800 (Khasmine Harris, Jasmine Hughley, Alexa Lashley, Ahja Amos); 6th place 4x100 (Jonnica Fuller, Jasmine Dunlap, Mikayla Turner, AmaryahWhite); 3rd place 4x400 (Mikayla, Jasmine D., Chalayna Scott, Amaryah); 8th place Triple Jump (Chyna Thompson); 7th place 200m (Amaryah).
We are very proud of all of the girls for their accomplishments this season. The State Championship begins Friday, May 11th at 5pm and finishes up Saturday afternoon. Please come out to cheer our girls on as they compete in the State Championship this weekend.
Boys Track
Last Thursday the Boys Track Team dominated the Region Championship scoring 240 points. The next closest team scored 86. The boys also finished the season with a 12 - 0 regular season mark. This makes the 11th straight year with an undefeated season and the 11th straight year as Region Champions.
