Spring Valley’s Quiz Bowl team captured the Midlands Collaboration Tournament Champion title for the second year in a row by defeating Lugoff-Elgin and Camden High Schools with scores of 50-13 and 29-28, respectively. The final round came down to the LAST question!! Team members included (standing from left to right in picture) Connor Myrick (11), Alyssa Williams (11), Isak Jatoi (12), Pranav Poola (9), and James Andreen (10). Other students who competed in regular matches during the season include Paul Dubberly (12), Zachary Huang (9), Jareer Imran (11), Fatima Jatoi (11), and Vikram Kumar (11). The team is coached by Dr. Michelle Wyatt. The team moves on to compete in the State Academic Challenge Tournament at Winthrop University on March 29th. Good luck!
