It was a tough loss for the Varsity girls soccer team as they suffered their 1st region loss in penalty kicks. After a scoreless first half, Karah Barry scored in the 8th minute of the 2nd half off of a corner from Sutton Murray. Blythewood didn't answer until about 3 minutes left in the match. After a scoreless 2 overtime periods, it came down to penalty kicks. Karah Barry and Karolina De La Paz were able to convert their kicks from the spot. But it wasn't enough as Blythwood scored 3 times from the spot.
The girls return home Friday in a key region matchup vs Irmo. This is also the Ashley Nicole Dent Memorial Game.

Friday night was the 13th Annual Ashley Nicole Dent Memorial Soccer Game vs Irmo. The Varsity girls came away with the 2-0 win. Karah Barry opened the scoring in the 5th minute and Abby Kim sealed the win with a late goal in the 72nd minute. The Vikings were also able to post their 9th shutout of the season.

The Junior Varsity Vikings were defeated 2-0, but they are learning from every game and working hard to strengthen their team. They hope to continue to improve their record as they take on Lugoff-Elgin away tomorrow, April 2nd and Ben Lippen away Wednesday, April 3rd. The stats are below.

Monday 3/25: The varsity Lady Vikings Softball team beat Ben Lippen 11 - 7. Some player highlights were as follow: Winning Pitcher was Gianna Valentie; Cydney Cooper 2-2, (1) HR; Lyrical Bennett 2-3, (1) 2B; and Gianna Valentie 2-3.
Monday 3/25: The Lady Vikings JV fought hard but suffered a 6-4 loss to Ben Lippin on Monday. Raina Palevich kept the Vikings close on the mound and went 2 for 2 with a walk at the plate.
Tuesday 3/26: The varsity Lady Vikings Softball team defeated Chapin 9 - 7. Some player highlights were as follow: Winning Pitcher was Lyrical Bennett (6) K; Kiarra Thomas 3-5; Cydney Cooper 4-5, (1) 2B; and Talea Vicenty 3-4.

On Wednesday, March 27th, the Lady Vikings Track & Field team traveled to Blythewood for a dual meet and took the win with a final score of 92-67 against Blytlewood and 92-23 against Ridgeview. A few highlights from the meet are:
