Good Afternoon Spring Valley Seniors & Families
As we prepare for graduation tomorrow, June 5th here is some information that will be useful:
Seniors must arrive no later than 2:45 pm to the Colonial Life Arena.
SECURITY PROCEDURES:
There has been an addition to the security process for all High School Graduations.
Colonial Life Arena is a Clear Bag Policy Building.
Along with the Bag Checks at all entrances into the facility, there will now be metal detectors at all entrances. This process is known as wanding.
The Arena does not allow items listed below to be brought in by patrons:
Aerosol cans
Outside Food & Beverages
Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
Animals (except certified service animals for the disabled)
Beach balls, Balloons and other inflatables
Bullhorns, air horns or any noisemakers

Wanding and bag checks will be in place at the back door for students as well. Please make sure you understand that being on time is going to be extremely important. Make sure you do not carry items in access and only carry what you need (keys, cell phones, wallets, etc.) To help the process move quickly and smoothly, as you approach the back door you will need to have your gown unzipped and have everything out of your pockets and in your hand.
