Ronit Pathak, a violinist in the SVHS Chamber Orchestra, has been selected to participate in the Honor Performers Series. The Honors Performance Series was established to feature talented student musicians in once-in-a-lifetime performances on some of the world’s great Concert stage to include Carnegie Hall- New York, New York; Musikverein- Vienna, Austria; and Sydney Opera House-Sydney, Australia. College music professors, music directors, private music instructors, and school teachers from across the world recognize and nominate their most talented performers.
In June/July 2020, Ronit will join gifted music students from 42 countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea for a six-day workshop experience that includes the following activities:

- rehearsals with master conductors and other student musicians from around the world
- a performance at the Großer Saal (Great Hall) at the Musikverein
- a sightseeing cruise on the Danube for all participants
- a performance at the famed Vienna State Opera and a day trip to Mozart's hometown, Salzburg
