ACADEMICALLY TALENTED YOUTH RECEIVE SPECIAL USC RECOGNITION
The University of South Carolina conferred the designation of CAROLINA MASTER SCHOLAR to twenty-three middle and high school students on December 6, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. at Campus Room, Capstone House, and 900 Barnwell Street. They earned a special certificate from the University. These students constitute the seventeenth graduating class earning the designation of Carolina Master Scholar for their successful completion of at least three Adventure Series courses. Carolina Master Scholar Adventure Series is a summer academic program for academically talented rising 6th– 12th graders. Adventure Series was chosen by “best program” by the University Continuing Education Association and “best program” by SC Association for High Continuing Education. As a result of their accomplishment, the students are recognized by the USC Alumni Association, and may receive extracurricular academic credit from their school districts. Congratulations to our four Spring Valley students Vikram Kneece, Luke Patton, Adeep Sen and Justin Kong for achieving this great recognition.
