Celebrate MLK Day Through Acts of Service

As we prepare to celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on January 20th let us take a moment to reflect on what that day means. The Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday was created as a day of service to volunteer, give back and improve our communities around us. One of our top initiatives is for our students to learn how to give back to their community. Below is just a glimpse of how our Spring Valley students gave back for the holidays in December. Winter Days is our largest annual school-wide community outreach project at Spring Valley. The project consists of various charitable drives that benefit several local community agencies. We would like to encourage you to join us and volunteer next Monday, give back to your community and show the true meaning of giving. Look at the pictures and video below and be reminded of how volunteering and giving back to others can bring some happiness to someone in need.
