Spring Valley Vikings JROTC teams competed in a combined meet at Ashley Ridge High School this past Saturday. Our Drill, Raider, and Academic Teams all competed against 10 other schools. Our academic team reached the semi-finals, and our Raider team finished in third place overall for the competition. Our State Champion Drill Team placed in 11 of 12 categories, winning a record 5 first place trophies and the overall Drill Team Competition. This is Spring Valley’s third victory in as many outings. Our next drill competition will be held at Charleston Southern University on 22 February while the Raider Team competes at Furman University on the same day.
