Spring Valley’s Quiz Bowl team won their first two matches of the 2019-20 Midlands Collaboration season at Lugoff-Elgin High School on January 7th, 2020 by defeating Lugoff-Elgin and Camden High Schools with scores of 36-17 and 31-28, respectively. Team members included Ahad Chattha (12), Sparsho De (11), Siddharth Gianey (12), JareerImran (12), Connor Myrick (12), Abhijith Nair, and Alyssa Williams (12). On January 21st, 2020, Spring Valley was again successful at the Midlands Collaboration second meet. They won their matches against North Central High School and Lugoff-Elgin High School with scores of 33-14 and 31-15, respectively. Team members included Ahad Chattha(12), Aleena Chattha (9), Parth Desai (10), Siddharth Gianey (12), Zachary Huang (10), Jareer Imran (12), and Abhijith Nair (12). The team is coached by Dr. Michelle Wyatt. The team competes again on January 28th. Congratulations to these students!
