Richland Two and Sodexo: COVID-19 Food Service Plan

COVID-19 School Feeding Update

Beginning tomorrow until school resumes on a normal schedule, we will be implementing our COVID-19 Food Service Plan. All Richland School District Two students, regardless of their free and reduced lunch status, will be eligible to receive up to two meals a day, Monday through Friday, at the following sites: Bridge Creek Elementary School, Dent Middle School, Keels Elementary School, Killian Elementary School, Longleaf Middle School, North Springs Elementary School, Polo Road Elementary School and Rice Creek Elementary School.

Meals are open to all students and they do not have to go to the site of their home school. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. and will consist of items such as cereal, yogurt, granola bars, milk, fresh fruit and juices.Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include items such as cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetables and milk. Menus are subject to change based on product availability.

Meals will be distributed as designated at each location per the counsel of district security, such as bus loops or car lines. Personnel will be on site at each location to direct traffic. No food will be served inside of the buildings and everything will be dispersed drive-thru/ grab-and-go style. Students must be present in the car to receive a meal.

Any questions regarding feeding procedures can be directed to Amy Roper, Sodexo/ Richland Two Marketing and Public Relations Manager. aroper@richland2.org
