The Aspirations in Computing Award recognizes high school girls for their computing achievements, leadership qualities and community involvement. Applications for the 2013-2014 year are open, soon to close on 10/31/2013. Please go to the Aspirations site and submit before 10/31/2013.
The prizes this year will be Google Nexus Tablets for South Carolina winners, as well as an awards ceremony at the Carolina Women in Computing Conference in Charleston in February. This is a great opportunity to be recognized as a female in IT. These girls are in high demand.
