Boys Lacrosse
The Viking Boy's Lacrosse Team traveled to Blythewood for an early season region contest. It was a close game, but the Viking Laxers came away with an important win in the quest for a third consecutive region championship. Final score was 9-8. Scoring multiple points for Spring Valley were Matthew Hogue (2 goals, 1 assist), DeShan Wilson (2 goals) and Gerard Smith (1 goal, 1 assist). Noah Diamond, Ryan Cain, Jay Johnson and Clay Armstrong all added a goal while Darius Gallman and James Moninghoff each added an assist. Connor Sears nabbed 7 saves and the defense backed up their goalie with stout play while only committing two penalties. On Friday, March 7th, the Viking Lacrosse Team will play at Irmo at 7pm.
