Last night the Boys Track Team defeated Lugoff-Elgin, Fairfield Central, Keenan and Pelion to run their record to 6-0.

The Lady Viking Track & Field team competed against Pelion, Kennan, Lugoff-Elgin, and Fairfield Central High Schools last night at home. The scores are as follows:

This brings our overall season record to 6-0 and our region record to 1-0. Some highlights of last night include:
-Our 4x400, 4x800, and 4x100 teams winning their overall races.
-Claudia Cannon won the 2 mile with an 11:52 and the one mile with a 5:28.
-Keisha Greene jumped her personal record of 15'8.5 and won the long jump event.
-Hannah Staudt won the pole vault event with a clear of 9ft.
-Raven Fleming won the shot put, discus, and high jump events.
-Lanesa Mahon won the 100m dash with a time of 12.4.
-Kennay Agnew won the 400m race.
-Shauntel Smullen and Kailyn Taylor took 1st and 2nd in the 800m run.
-Inez Nicholson took about 6 seconds off of her one mile time and looked strong in the open 800m race.
We performed well as a team overall and there are too many personal records to list on this one post. We are looking great so far and look forward to competing in the Silver Fox Invitational this Saturday, March 22nd at Dutch Fork High School.
