- Acceptable poise and presentation during a performance.
- The selection of musical material as being conducive to the formal atmosphere of the graduation ceremony.

The student selected to perform the Senior Soloist or Ensemble must select a musical piece that is acceptable for
the purposes of the formal occasion of the graduation ceremony. Pop or show tunes are not considered
appropriate selections. Also, please
avoid sacred music that might be offensive or inappropriate for an audience
that includes a variety of religious beliefs.
In the past, talented applicants have been disqualified because the
selection was not appropriate for the occasion.
The selection of the Senior Soloist or Ensemble should be representative
of the talent and quality that embodies the entire graduating class. Click here for Senior Soloist or Ensemble application.
Students found in violation of the above criteria and the qualifying
criteria will forfeit the position of Senior Class Soloist or Ensemble without
exception. The student(s) must be
willing to submit to editorial suggestions and criticisms.
NOTE: this application/audition process is NOT related to the Senior
Assembly selections.
