Alive @ 25 is an early intervention program to help prevent traffic violations, collisions and fatalities among teen drivers sponsored by the National Safety Council. The program is designed to prevent the No. 1 killer of teens, automobile crashes. Classes are taught by off-duty deputy sheriffs, municipal police officers and SC Highway Patrol officers. The course is delivered in one 4.5 hour program which focuses on the behaviors, decision-making and risks facing young drivers every time they get behind the wheel. In order for students to register for a parking permit they must have a valid driver's license and proof that they have taken the Alive @ 25 driver safety course. The next Alive @ 25 class at Spring Valley will be held on Thursday, November 6th from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m. in room C147. Click here to register for the class.
