SV Students Participate in a Celebration of the Saxophone

In honor of the 200th birthday of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone, the USC School of Music, under the direction of Cliff Leahman, held a Saxophone Celebration at the Darla Moore School of Business on Thursday evening, November 6th. Over 100 saxophone players gathered together to play five pieces including "Ein' feste Burg ist unser Gott", "Overture to the Marriage of Figaro", and the USC fight song, "Step to the Rear".  Participants in this event included Junior Ethan Dilley, Freshman Macey Coulter, and Stuart Ray, Director of Bands at E. L. Wright Middle School and Assistant Director for our Viking Marching Band.
