SV Boys Tennis defeated Blythewood 6-0
Boys Tennis
The boys defeated Blythewood 6-0. Winning at singles for Spring Valley were, Blake McGuirt, Vikranth Reddy, Noah Guyton, Austin Bridgers, and John Anthony Hurley. Winning at #2 doubles were Myles Taste and Ben Wagner. The boys take on the Manning Monarchs in Manning on Wednesday and return home Thursday to face Westwood.
Softball
The softball team was able to pull out a 5-4 victory over rival Blythewood Tuesday evening. This was a great win for our girls over a very competitive team. Top offensive performers on the night were Anna Davis who went 2-for-4, Breanna Martinez 3-for-3, and Whitney Jenkins and Jourdan Bostic who were both 2-for-3. With the win, our overall record has moved to 2-2, and our region record now stands at 2-1. The girls travel to Irmo tonight in a non-region match-up.
