Dear Richland Two Families:
School will operate on a one-hour delay on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. Spring Valley will follow the following bell schedule every day next week:
Early Bird: 8:30-9:20
1st: 9:40-10:20
2nd: 10:25-11:05
3rd: 11:10-11:55
4th: 12:00-12:40
Lunch: 12:40-1:20
5th: 1:25-2:05
6th: 2:10-2:49
7th: 2:54-3:33
Students do not have school next Thursday, October 22nd (teacher work day) nor Friday, October 23rd (district holiday).
We greatly appreciate your patience, as we work to get students back to as close to a regular schedule as possible. Safety continues to be our top priority. Almost all of our buses (100 out of 114) are still traveling on adjusted routes due to numerous road closures. The delay allows us to run all bus routes during daylight hours and avoid some traffic congestion caused by multiple detours. Please, do not drive around or move any barricades.
Due to last week's closing of school, the end of the first nine weeks has been moved from October 21st to October 28th. Report cards will go home with Spring Valley students on November 5th.
At this time, there are no plans to change the end date for semester one (January 14th).
All of the inclement weather make up days on the school calendar will be used to make up for missed days, so students will have school on February 15th, March 25th, and April 29th. Additionally, January 4th will now be a school day as well.
