JV Girls Basketball
The JV Lady Vikings defeated Ridge View 39-29 last night. Overall good defensive effort. We were led in scoring by Destiny Coleman 17 pts. Other scorers were Tiara Sumpter 8 pts, Tykiera Wiley 6 pts, Kymber Lee, Alexis Mikell, Ikia Morgan and Deanna Etheridge 2 pts each. Record 9-1. We will be back in action on Wednesday, January 20th, @ Dutch Fork 5:30 pm.
JV Boys Basketball
We defeated Ridge View last night 56-33 improving our record to 7-1. Our teams defensive pressure made it hard for them to to score because we forced them to turn the ball over and we converted most of those turnovers into points and we were able to get a comfortable lead and never looked back. It was a total team effort. Our leading scorer of the game was freshman Trevor Squirewell with 10pts. Antwaan Moore, JaCobe Elkins and Quincy Hill each had 9pts., Darius Cohens and Bryson Earle both had 7pts., Qymanie Sanders 2pts., and Jakobe Gibson 1pt.
B-Team Boys Basketball
The B-Team lost to Ridge View last night. We battled hard throughout the game, but at the end we were on the losing side. The leading scorers in the game were Dallin Brown with 8, Ja'Len Roberson with 7, and Josh Felder with 7. Our next game is January 20th at Dutch Fork.
