Spring Valley hosted the Viking VRC Nothing But Net Tournament on Saturday, January 30th in the main gym. Sixteen teams from around the state competed in the all-day event. Our club team Green & Gold Robotics finished 10th in match play, 4th in driving skills, and 6th in programming skills. Our class team Viking EDD finished 16th in match play, 13th in driving skills, and 7th in programming skills. Our Spring Valley teams were chosen for different alliances for the elimination rounds and ended up facing each other in the quarterfinals (see picture), with Viking EDD's alliance advancing to the semifinals. Parents, friends, colleagues, team members, other coaches and associates, and honor and service club members volunteered their time to help make the event a success. Thanks to all!
