Dance For A Smile was a great success! Spring Valley senior, Vinita Cheepurupalli hosted a dance recital on Saturday, September 9, 2017, to raise money for children with cleft palate through the nonprofit organization SmileTrain. Her goal was to raise $2,500 to do treatment for 10 children. However, she exceeded her goal and raised $5,012, which can help 19 children. Vinita worked with school officials, 53 dancers, and over 20 volunteers to organize the event. More than 300 people attended this event and enjoyed the classical Indian dance performances.
