Explorations Student Conducts Research through the American Chemical Society (ACS) Project SEED Program

Spring Valley Explorations student Dylan Kier, Class of 2019, conducted summer research in the laboratory of Dr. Morgan Stefik, a professor in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at the University of South Carolina.  Dylan’s research focused on the synthesis of glassy block copolymers and homopolymers designed for potential use in solar cells, batteries, and supercapacitors. Dylan participated in an ACS Project SEED poster presentation on August 10th at the University of South Carolina. Dylan plans to continue his research with Dr. Stefik next summer. Congratulations, Dylan!
