REMINDER FOR FIRST MEETING – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2018
Just a quick reminder for those students interested in the after school Steel Pans Project. The first meeting for the program is on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Dent Middle School.
Also, the program remains open for any student who was unable to attend the informational meeting but is interested in joining the ensemble. Please come to the first rehearsal on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. (See below for required experience and time of the practice).
Richland Two high school students with past musical experience are invited to join The Steel Pans Project, an ensemble for students who want to learn or continue playing the steel pans. Previous steel pans training is not required as long as the student has other musical experience.
Rehearsals are located at Dent Middle School from 4:15-6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and begin October 16, 2018. Students must arrange their own transportation. Rehearsals are located in Room C101, at Dent Middle School (near the gymnasium). For more information, please come to the first meeting, or contact the director, Mr. Hipps at whipps@richland2.org.
