Spring Valley's robotics team 120-X went to The Cougar Challenge robotics competition on 1/26/2019 where they won the judge's award which is awarded to the team who displays special attributes, exemplary effort and perseverance at the event, and team accomplishments and endeavors throughout the seasons. 120-X also was awarded a sportsmanship award from other teams. They made an impression on other teams and were very friendly and a clean playing team. The team members include Erin Byrd, Paul Dubberly, Paulina Trifonova, Ridha Fatima, Tremayne Ansani, Basith Penna-Hakkim, Srestha Samaddar, and Amal Verma.
