| Left- All-State Band Students Right - Region Three Bands |
Congratulations to 32 of our fine band students for following through with a rigorous audition process to earn seats in the All-Sate and Region Three Bands. Each student was required to perform: All 12 diatonic scales correctly in multiple octaves within two minutes. Their Chromatic Scale for the required range of the instrument. The state assigned solo. Two sight reading examples with 30 seconds given to study prior to playing. Music Terms Definitions Quiz. Region Band Clinic will take place at Nation Ford High School on February 22nd & 23rd, with the concerts the afternoon and evening of the 23rd.
All-State Band Clinic will take place during SCBDA State Professional Development at Furman University on March 15th-17th, with the performances on the evening of the 17th.
