The Spring Valley Color Guard improved its competition record to 5-0 last Saturday with an impressive win in the Upstate Regional Drill Championships. Our Viking Color Guard bested 21 teams from all four branches from Georgia, North, and South Carolina. Our award winning team consists of C/Major Dreyson Clark, Cadet Major Anthony Harper, C/SSgt Zachary Cunningham, and is led by C/Lt Col JaTravious Ingram. The Drill Team including both armed and unarmed teams finished overall 4th in this regional meet. The Viking Drill Team concludes the competition season by appearing in the annual State Championships for Drill Competition, Saturday, 23 March, at McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover.
