South Carolina Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS) Awards

Fifty-nine Discovery students traveled to Trident Technical College Saturday, April 5th to compete at the South Carolina Junior Academy of Science Research Paper and Oral Presentation Competition. Fourteen Discovery freshmen also went to observe the competition in preparation for their sophomore research. Nominees to attend the AAJAS/AAAS meeting in San Jose, California in February 2015 have not been announced yet. Congratulations to all of our Discovery students for their excellent research papers and oral presentations! They are all winners! Congratulations also to the pre-research and research teachers: Dr. Joanne Bedlek-Anslow, Dale Soblo, Michelle Spigner, and Erin Valentie.
