Chef Robert Penry, culinary demonstrator for Johnson and Wales University, demonstrated culinary techniques and prepared Korean style bulgogi tacos for Theresa Formyduval's Culinary Arts classes on Monday, November 11th. His assistants were culinary arts students Calvin Glover, LaMauria Smith, and Niya Kenny. Chef Penry also talked about opportunities for student scholarships and grants at Johnson and Wales University. A meeting will be held in Columbia on December 3rd at 7:00pm for any SVHS student interested in getting more information about Johnson and Wales.
