JV Football
On Thursday, October 31st, the JV football team defeated Lugoff-Elgin 35-14 at Harry Parone Stadium. The team captains for last night's game were R.J. Bacon on offense and Justin Rose on defense.
The scoring began with a 6 yard touchdown run from T'Juan Fulton. On the next possession, Kevin Owens took it in the end zone on the quarterback keeper from 13 yards out. It was Fulton again on the third possession from 13 yards out. Then Fulton again scored on the following possession on a nice 56 yard pass from Kevin Owens. Finally, Kevin Owens scored from 8 yards out on a well read option play to close out the scoring for the Vikings.
On defense, T"Juan Fulton had an interception. Joell Feberee had some excellent open field tackles. Late in the third on a punt return, Devon Keith had a great block allowing the T'Juan another 15 yards. Jaron Ricks had a spectacular tackle on a punt from his Gunner position in which the returner netted zero yardage. Peyton Pendarvis also got a interception and had an excellent kick off return.  Again, RJ Bacon was 5/5 on pat's in special teams.

The Vikings will play arch rival Richland Northeast HS in the final game of the regular season. The Vikings will be the visitors and sit on the opposite side of the field as it is RNE's home game.
