A Spring Valley tradition since 1984, Winter Days engages staff, students, parents, churches, area businesses, and more. The Denim, Blankets, and Coats Committee, chaired by Inez Nicholson, collects and donates these items to those less fortunate during the holiday season. This year the Committee's goal is to donate 2700 items and they will definitely need all of the help they can get. If you have any denim, blankets, or coats (we are also accepting sweatshirts, fleeces, pullovers, sweaters, etc.) please donate them to this worthy cause. Donations can be brought to the school any day. Students will be on hand to receive donations directly from cars in the drop off line on Wednesday, November 20th, Wednesday, December 4th, and Wednesday, December 11th. They will also be selling hot chocolate and baked goods! All of the donations and proceeds will go to Transitions, Salvation Army, God's Storehouse, and Oliver Gospel Mission.
