Softball
Lexington Wildcat Invitational:
The softball team competed in the Lexington Wildcat Invitational Tournament this past weekend. The girls finished 3-2 overall. The team opened up with a loss to Nation Ford on Friday night, but were able to quickly bounce back beating a tough Gilbert team, in part by a grand slam by Anna Davis. Saturday started off well as they were able to beat both Dreher and Lexington, but finished the tournament with a loss to Blythewood. The team will be in action again on Tuesday, March 18th at home against Lugoff Elgin in their first region matchup of the season. JV starts at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:00. Come to the field and support your Lady Vikings!
