Girls Tennis
The girl's tennis team lost to a very tough and impressive Lexington team yesterday here at home. Jenning Chen went to a third set tiebreak in the closest match of the afternoon, but lost 6-10.  The Lady Vikings take on region rival Blythewood on Tuesday at Blythewood at 5:00 pm.


Girls & Boys Swim Team (9-10-14)
Blythewood HS visited The Woodlands CC for a Region dual meet with the Viking Swim Team. The Vikings were dominant in their opening contest, as the girls won 110-60 and the boys won 120-49.

Double winners were:
Tori Agostini, 200 Free and 100 Back
Kelsey Greene, 200 IM and 100 Breast
Thomas Agostini, 200 Free and 100 Back
Matthew Greene, 200 IM and 100 Free
Carl Lobitz, 50 Free and 100 Fly

Single winners were:
Annie Lobitz, 50 Free
Breland Green, 100 Free
Alex Gregg, 400 Free

The Vikings won all 6 relays, as well.

The next swim meet will be Tuesday, September 16, at 5:30 at the Woodlands CC against Irmo HS.

JV Football
The boys junior varsity football team defeated archival Richland Northeast last night 21-8. The Vikings were led on offense by touchdowns from Ryan Parrott, Terrell Jackson and Trelvis Miller who also had a 2 point conversion. Jake Hamilton had 1 extra point. The defense had a strong showing led by Paul Stokes, London Thompson, Jason Oree and the rest of the Vikings defense. The JV team is 1-1 and their next game will be at home against Irmo.
