National POW/MIA Recognition Day is Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. This annual event honors prisoners of war and our missing and their families. The Spring Valley AFJROTC Cadet Colonel Carly Bensvega and her staff collected money for the Wounded Warrior Project by asking fellow students to ring a bell remembering the American wounded and donate to this great cause. lobby of Spring Valley High School on
September 19th in remembrance of all of the POW and MIA soldiers.
